Silver Eagle Outfitters Introduces New Kula-XD Cooling Vest

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Silver Eagle Outfitters, manufacturers of temperature-regulating comfort apparel for over 11 years, prepares to expand their cooling vest options with the introduction of their new Kula-XD™ cooling vest.  Based on the same evaporative cooling principal of their existing cooling products, the Kula-XD is enhanced with new fabric technology that offers easier activation and guarantees hours of dry evaporative cooling.

Like the cooling vests that have brought heat-relief to Silver Eagle customers since 2000, the Kula-XD is activated by adding water to the garment, which then absorbs into an interior material that remains lightweight, even after water has been added. The absorbent inside is sandwiched between two layers of water-proof breathable fabric that keep the moisture away from the wearer, allowing it only to escape away from the body through evaporation.

What makes the Kula-XD cooling vest different?

1. The Kula-XD provides DRY Evaporative Cooling using Inuteq™ patented cooling technolgy, a new means of adding water to the garment that allows the outer surfaces of the vest-- and the wearer--  to remain absolutely dry.

2. For more immediate cooling and ease of use, the Kula-XD is equipped with a sealable filling point where water can be added directly to the inner material, eliminating the need for submersion.

3. While still offering the same cooling effectiveness for which Silver Eagle cooling vests are known, the Kula-XD’s combination of new materials expands the effective cooling time to 24 hours or more.
