A New “fresh feel website” for iPOTT in the making !!

March 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Without any dispute it can be agreed ;  India is an emerging market for software products.  According to a study by Nasscom and Bangalore-based management consulting firm Zinnov Management Consulting, sales of software products are expected to increase from US$294 billion at present to US$537 billion by 2015. The study estimates that by 2015 the addressable market for Indian software products could be US$290 billion to US$315 billion.

...it’s time for software vendors to time test and prepare their products for this new emerging market...

Foreseeing the tremendous potential in this emerging market iPOTT stepped into providing innovative and cost effective services to the Software market.  The website www.ipott.com was launched in 2007 or so.  The website enables software companies to list software to enable marketability in the emerging Indian Market.

The website current design is couple years old and the company has now announced its plan to launch a “fresh feel website” in the next few months.

On a question to “fresh feel Website” the CEO, Purnima Varadrajan says “ … freshness in look and feel..is all I can say for now.. it’s a wait and watch for our users”.  
So why now? Purnima says “iPOTT was initially launched with a simple vision to bring offline software information online, but the market expectation about iPOTT and the change in the market itself has driven us to relook at our strategy.  

Over the last few months we have been realigning our vision and re-categorizing our services. I am sure the market is already seeing the difference.  But the new “fresh feel website” will give the complete picture”  While Purnima is not revelling much it sure looks like something “fresh” is to be expected with the website of ipott.com. For those of you who have not visited www.ipott.com, do so now, so that we can validate the statement of the CEO on the “fresh feel website” when it is launched.
