Assemblymember Aravella Simotas to Attend Grand Opening of Raising Astoria

Feb. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Astoria, NY February 29, 2012:  Assemblymember, Aravella Simotas, a lifelong resident of Astoria, Queens, representing New York’s 36th Assembly District will be attending the grand opening of a maternity and baby boutique, called Raising Astoria, selling new and slightly used items on consignment. The store offers a variety of classes for parents and their children as well.  Raising Astoria is slated to open March 1st, 2012 and the grand opening party is on March 3rd, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

"As the daughter of small business owners and a mother-to-be, I am very excited about the opening of Raising Astoria. It is inspiring to see two women entrepreneurs open a small business in our community that will cater to the growing number of young families who need access to quality, affordable maternity and baby items,” says Aravella Simotas.
