Under Demand for Cloud Computing Solutions, FiberCloud Grows Sales and Marketing Team
Growing Demand for Cloud Services Finds FiberCloud Ready to Meet the Needs of Customers and an Expanding Market
Kevin McCalmon, national sales director, joins an already dedicated sales team and will lead with a consultative sales approach that will drive channel and direct sales nationally. Kevin has over 14 years telecommunications management experience with a focus on small and growing companies. FiberCloud brought Kevin on board to lead FiberCloud’s direct sales team and channel sales team that grew by 200% in 2011. Kevin joins Rick Collins, channel sales account manager, who will help expand national resale partner sales. Rick is a veteran cloud computing consultant with an extensive background in SaaS, ERP, and CRM for small and medium business.
FiberCloud adds these key hires to extend their cloud offerings across all channels. FiberCloud is growing its wholesale and referral partner channels as well as increasing sales to small businesses through their cloud computing retail site, Cloud City Hosting. According to Forrester Research, cloud computing is forecast to be a $241 Billion industry by 2020. Under the the channel sales division, Kevin and Rick will contribute to FiberCloud’s efforts to provide rural and underserved markets to cloud computing solutions, helping them cut costs, add security and stay ahead of the growing cloud technology and business productivity trends.

In 2011 FiberCloud increased its product line to include new cloud servers, Linux and Windows server backup as well as Windows and Mac workstation backup. The expansion assists FiberCloud in the growth of new and future products to boost reseller and direct sale offerings that exceed the pace of change for cloud productivity and security solutions.
Sr. Marketing and Communication Manager, Keilee Kramer, joins FiberCloud’s experienced sales and marketing team to expand FiberCloud’s market presence and communication initiatives nationally and across channels. Keilee comes to FiberCloud with more than 15 years of marketing communications experience, with growing technology companies, under her belt. Keilee will be focused on spreading the word about FiberCloud’s innovative approach and their commitment to the customer relationship.
