Resurrection Reflections are not head-trips which send you to theological works or Catholic commentaries on the subject at hand.   The reflections are a simple, heartfelt sharing from one God-seeker to another.  One may come away from Resurrection Reflections feeling consoled, challenged or drawn to prayer.   The reflections are meant to be an instrument to help others open themselves up to the workings of God grace.

The Sisters of the Resurrection are a religious community of women who believe wholeheartedly in the unconditional and ever-present love of God, poured forth through the life, suffering, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.   You will find the beautiful charism of the Resurrection interspersed in the writing.   You will learn, as a by-product, a bit more about this Community of Sisters, which seeks to proclaim Jesus Risen 24/7.  

The Sisters of the Resurrection were co-founded by a mother, Blessed Celine Borzecka and her daugher, Venerable Mother Hedwig in 1891.  These two women have been acknowledged by the Catholic Church to be people who lived with heroic virtue.  Through Mother Celine's intercession, a miracle was granted to a young man in Poland and because of this, she is ranked among those beatified in our Church and now called "Blessed."    One can read more about this history and about the Sisters of the Resurrection at http://www.resurrectionsisters.org.
