Kauto Star on top form for 2012 Cheltenham Gold Cup

Feb. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Paul Nicholls has announced that Kauto Star is well prepared for the upcoming Cheltenham Gold Cup. The horse has managed to avoid the illness currently affecting a number of runners at Nicholls' stables, and has maintained the strong form he has showcased in previous races this season.

Last week, Paul Nicholls was forced to call off the Cheltenham media day he holds every year prior to the March event. Due to a coughing bug, the trainer cancelled his invitation to the press in order to prevent the spread of infection. It appears as though his precautionary measure worked as no other horses have fallen ill since.
