Feb. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C. – The Kroger Co.  (, the nation’s largest traditional grocery retailer with 16 stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, has announced that from Wednesday, Feb. 29 through Saturday, March 3, customers who spend $200 or more in a single transaction in one of its participating stores will receive two free tickets to the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 on April 1 at the Martinsville Raceway in Martinsville, VA.  All 16 stores in the Triangle are taking part in the promotion, including Apex, Cary, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh and Durham. Supplies are limited and on a first come, first served basis.  

Carl York, corporate affairs manager for Kroger Mid-Atlantic, which includes stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, said that in addition to the Goody’s Fast Relief 500, Kroger is sponsoring the Kroger 250 Truck Race on Saturday, March 31 at the Martinsville Raceway.  

- The $200 purchase total excludes fuel, pharmacy, alcohol and tobacco.

- Ticket vouchers will print on the Kroger receipt. To redeem the voucher, call toll-free (877) RACETIX (877-722-3849) and mention “Kroger Offer” and the nine-digit voucher number on the receipt.
