Gracie & Co. Launches New Pet Care Blog
In addition to info about how to train small dogs to use a litter box, Gracie & Co.'s blog also features posts about senior dogs, handicapped dogs and dog rescue & adoption. The author's dog, Gracie, was the namesake for the GracieLoo dog litter box.
Since 1995, Blackstone’s experience as a dog trainer has provided her with a wealth of real-life case studies. She shares this knowledge as she writes blog posts to help other people train their dogs. Blackstone finds that you really can “teach an old dog new tricks” as evidenced by older dogs who have been successfully trained to use a litter box using her method.
The author also blogs about Gracie, her Yorkshire terrier, who was the namesake for Gracie & Co. and the GracieLoo. Gracie used her litter box for 15 years until her death in 2010. It was during Gracie’s last two handicapped years when Blackstone witnessed many challenges that older dogs and handicapped dogs face. Those experiences inspired her to write blog posts with helpful information for caregivers of older and handicapped dogs.
Gracie & Co.’s blog features ongoing posts on rescued dogs and dog adoption. The company's spokesdog, Stella, was adopted through a dog rescue organization in 2011. Although she was already housetrained at the time of her adoption, Stella soon passed her litterbox-training classes with flying colors. Blackstone kept a daily journal during the training period to document Stella’s day-to-day accomplishments, as well as her setbacks, to help others in training their dogs.

Gracie & Co. is the sole distributor for the GracieLoo dog litter box, which was designed exclusively for toy breeds and other small dogs. Victoria Blackstone is the company's owner and the inventor of the GracieLoo. She is the guardian of Stella, a Yorkshire terrier she adopted in 2011 from a dog rescue organization. Lucy was the first of Victoria’s rescue Yorkies she adopted in 1992 that endeared her to the breed. The namesake for Gracie & Co. and the GracieLoo was Gracie, Victoria's beloved Yorkie that she adopted in 1995. Gracie’s handicapped senior years inspired Victoria to help others with handicapped dogs. Gracie & Co. provides information through their website and blog to educate others on the benefits of dog litterbox-training. They also help guardians of older dogs and handicapped dogs with canine aging and health information. Office/manufacturing/
