"Young at Heart" Film Festival at BIG ARTS on Sanibel March 25
'Young at Heart' Film Festival is Sunday, March 25, at 3 p.m. at BIG ARTS, 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, Fl. The festival features two films about people thriving in their 60s, 70s and beyond. Admission is $30 and includes a boxed dinner & discussion.
The festival begins with the screening of the acclaimed Korean film "Poetry." A discussion and boxed dinner follows the film.
The second film of the festival is the documentary, "How to Live Forever." Filmmaker Mark Wexler embarks on a curious and lively investigation to uncover the secrets to living forever. For this documentary, Wexler interviews fitness legend Jack LaLanne; receives hormone replacement advice from actress and author Suzanne Somers; meets Buster Martin, a chain-smoking, beer-drinking centenarian marathon-runner;
A discussion with wine and cheese will follow the film.
