Author R.J. Tolson 'Just Getting Started' With His Debut Music Album -House-

Feb. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Soon, music fanatics! That’s when our teen author RJ Tolson is planning to release his first album ‘House.’ While we have his top charted book ‘Zephyr The West Wind’ to tide us over, Tolson revealed to Teen Choice Radio that he is actively working on his first full length, saying it could be out as early as this April or May. He also said he wants to follow a similar career trajectory of David Guetta, Stromae and Michael Jackson!

Tolson, who has been working with a slew of guests on the album, said he has a singular goal with ‘House’ and that is to “bring something different into the world that people will love.” He said, “This is my first album and I won't pretend I'm a music genius, but I'm gonna bring everything I have to the table with this. I have always listened to many different genres, sometimes feeling like there is something missing..I want to try and fill that gap.’

That’s where the Guetta model comes in. Tolson continued, “Like how David Guetta did ‘Nothing but the Beat.’ I want to make something different like that. Not like him, but do my own thing.” So R.J. wants to pull off a similar artistic and creative feat, without copying DG’s sound or style. It’s a smart, calculated move on Tolson's part.

The teen upcoming star writer, business man and artist  said there is no set time for the new release, but that he “will probably be releasing it late spring or early summer. ” Only a couple songs are finished, but he will be recording from now until then! He said, “I’m not taking a break or giving up. I’m giving it my all whether or not it turns out amazing or not. It's not easy working on the album while running my three businesses, my charity, soccer and college work.’” He’s been sleeping until 11 AM most days lately — lucky him!
