Ascensus' Jean-ius Way to Give Back

Feb. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Dresher, Pennsylvania–“Jeans day” takes on a whole new meaning at Ascensus. Through the company’s Comfort for a Cause program, associates who make a minimum $5 donation to charity are rewarded with a week of being able to wear jeans to work. The program is hugely popular, with tens of thousands of dollars raised since it was first launched in 2010.

One factor that likely contributes to the program’s success is that every aspect is associate-driven. Associates nominate the charities for consideration and then vote to select the final six that will be supported throughout the year (5 national charities and one local charity for each of the company’s seven locations). Last year, associates chose to support the following organizations:

•   Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center (Middleton, WI)
