She often receives posts and emails stating that a black girl should rap and leave rock music to “white males”. Some would be hurt and discouraged but Esh is only determined to be the rock star that burns in her soul. She understands the huge task of taking on a male dominated genre and she has the chops to do it! Whether she is singing self penned, “Burn this House Down”; or adding her special blend of Soul to a standard rock cover, Esh is a rocker through and through. Esh is performing on March 3, 2012 at the Double Door; one of Chicago’s well known rock clubs. She will be performing singles from her upcoming EP as well as fan favorite covers. When she opens her mouth there is always the initial surprise then the immediate head nod and body rock. Esh is winning fans over one by one.
