Seven Ciena Healthcare Skilled Nursing Communities Recognized as the Best Nursing Homes in Michigan
Each of these communities has received an overall five-star rating, the highest possible, by U.S. News & World Report.
The Ciena Healthcare communities include Autumnwood of McBain in McBain, Christian Park Healthcare Center and Christian Park Village in Escanaba, Fountain View of Monroe in Monroe, Lakeview Manor Healthcare Center in Tawas City, Qualicare Nursing Home in Detroit and Royalton Manor in St. Joseph.
The U.S. News rankings are built on data from Nursing Home Compare, a consumer website run by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS sets and enforces standards for all nursing homes enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid.
“This is a tremendous honor for our communities to be recognized for their excellent patient and resident care in such a respected national publication,”
According to U.S. News & World Report, one in seven Americans age 65 and older will spend time in one of the nation’s 16,000 nursing homes this year. For those 85 and older, the chances are more than one in five. The publication ranks and displays data about nearly every U.S. nursing facility and updates the information every quarter.
