Identity theft is a major issue in the United States, thousands of people is exposed to this problem in the United States every day.  If we look at the definition of theft we see that it means to take away from someone something that doesn’t belong to you.  We would assume living in a technological savvy society that this would be a minute issue, but as our society becomes more advanced the issue of identity theft becomes systemic.  I happen to be a big fan of technology, but technology is only as good as the people that use it.  There are many people that try to pervert technology and any other benefit to man kind, but there are people to combat this all the same.  The end result of identity theft is a consumer having their credit ruined in which it could take thousand of dollars to repair, not to mention the time it eats up in your life trying to clean up the mess that someone else created.

The credit bureaus have certain protocol in dealing with identity theft such as alerts they can put on your credit reports in the event someone other than yourself tries to attain credit in your name.  There are also third party companies that have alert services which require verification.  I personally believe that when trying to combat human nature or human era, we should first start with ourselves.  There are someone basic common tools that everyone should own, I first recommend investing in a shredder, and you can get great deals on them at Sam’s club or Wal-Mart.  I also suggest you do your due diligence in checking out whomever your doing business with that will have access to your personal information, you only need to get burnt once to realize that human era can cause you thousands of dollars and tons of time.

If you have issues with identity theft, there is no need to be paranoid, it’s an opportunity prick your consciousness and to exercise caution when handling sensitive information pertaining to you or anyone else.  We also suggest if you have any issues with I.D. theft and need help we suggest you visit out website www.capitalcreditadvisor.com, there you will find a series of letters can help you on the road to recovery.  Please feel free to contact our partners for a free credit repair consultation at 1-877-860-2443.
