Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- BBC Radio 4’s popular ‘Poetry Workshop’ has recently visited The Dylan Thomas Centre to record a new episode.

The episode will feature members from Swansea group Junkbox Poetry, and readers from The Crunch poetry night held at Mozart’s in the Uplands.

Dylan Thomas Centre attendant Alan Kellermann was one of those included in the programme. His first poetry collection will be published by Parthian Books in September.

Jo Furber, Literature Officer at the Dylan Thomas Centre, said: “I was delighted when the show’s producer got in touch to discuss ideas vwxdr for the show.

“The Junkbox Poets have used the Dylan Thomas Centre as a venue for workshops in the past, and they regularly attend events both at the Centre, and at Mozart’s.

“It’s really exciting that some of Swansea’s brightest talents will have the chance to showcase their work on this prestigious national programme.”

’Poetry Workshop’ explores the excitement and pleasures of writing and reading poetry.

Leading poet Ruth Padel works with various creative writing groups across the UK, taking a workshop with them and discussing their poems.

The programme will be broadcast on Radio 4 on Sunday, 4 March at 4.30pm.
