Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Welcome to Guide2Geneva!

Today, 20 February 2012, we are very proud to announce the launch of Guide2Geneva, as part of the worldwide Guide2 network and the first site to go live in Switzerland.

Guide2Geneva is working hard to offer, comprehensive, relevant and up to date information about Geneva and the surrounding region.

Guide2Geneva aims to offer a complete view of this beautiful city on the French border.  A tourist destination, business and cultural centre as well as a fantastic base for alpine adventure sports.

Geneva is a fascinating combination of old and new with no less than 82 buildings and monuments of historical importance and offering 330 hectares of green spaces. There are museums and theatres across the city and there is always an event taking place.  Headquarters of the UN and the red cross as well as many well known multi-national companies create a truly international city.

Guide2Geneva features local businesses and services as well as places to stay, restaurants and things to do once visitors are here.

The events section is updated regularly to ensure visitors know what is going on near them and there are News and Featuresupdated daily from across the region, including human interest stories from the people who live here.

The site offers a community area, where people can take part in discussions on relevant topics, enjoy exclusive discount vouchers on local goods and services, share videos, photos and offer classified advertisements as well as being able to upload and promote their own events – ALL FOR FREE!

Our mission at Guide2Geneva is become the ultimate and No1 guide to the region and that is why we will be adding content all the time, to ensure our visitors keep coming back to us.

Follow us on Facebook Guide to Geneva and on Twitter as Guide2Geneva, feedback and suggestions for the site are welcome.
