Local Storage Helps Break the Cycle of Incarceration

Feb. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Chantilly, VA– February 16, 2012 – Storage Village is partnering with Friends of Guest House to work towards the betterment of our community through the lowering of crime by assisting women seeking to improve their lives and break the cycle of incarceration.

Friends of Guest House is a nonprofit organization that provides a temporary home for women recently released from prison who need basic support services to facilitate a new start in life and successfully transition back into society. Friends of Guest House offers structure, supervision, support and assistance to women who sincerely want to improve their lives and break the cycle of incarceration.

Now through April 30th, Storage Village will be purchasing and selling water bottles at their Chantilly location to support Friends of Guest House’s efforts.  All money collected from the water bottles will be going towards the organization’s program funds.

Storage Village assists non profits that meet the most critical needs in our community.  Establishing fundraising partnerships every three months, this community oriented self storage has provided relief from poverty, homelessness, hunger, and abuse.

Storage Village’s aid to Friends of Guest House marks just one of the many ways Storage Village exemplifies and encourages its core values of excellence, integrity, and community service.  Each full time employee volunteers at least 8 hours per month at the organization of his or her choosing.

Storage Village is proud to be an active member in their community.  As “The Trusted Home For Your Possessions,” they invite anyone in need of extra space or who wishes to contribute to visit their facility.  Storage Village is located near Dulles Airport at 14159 Mariah Court.
