ACE Dental Education Website Gets New Look

Feb. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- The Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE) has recently overhauled the look and design of their high-traffic website. These changes in website design reflect suggestions from users as well as from recent changes to the way search engines view websites. This marks the third time in one year the ACE website has been updated to improve the experience of its visitors and to make attempts to rank better for related search terms.

The ACE website is run by RPM LLC, the company also responsible for managing the full-circle marketing efforts of select ACE associates. “The idea was to create a website that reflected what our research indicated was best in terms of user experience and SEO capability, and we are proud with the result” said RPM owner Rustin Savarese. The new website includes an easy-to-use side bar navigation that allows visitors to quickly access any of the detailed cosmetic and restorative dentistry procedures. “Placing this much information on a website and making it seamless for visitors to access was a challenge but our web design team did a great job and our traffic has seen significant spikes” said lead website designer Eric Gregory.

Also involved in the design of the new ACE website is Internet consultant Daniel E. Lofaso of Content Professional in West Palm Beach, FL. “Eric and I decided that we wanted to look forward into what Google had been discussing regarding website design and how their emphasis on user experience would be factored more into SEO.” As part of enhancing user experience Lofaso and Gregory considered what is called ‘above the fold’ design. Above the fold is a concept that originated in the printed newspaper industry. Online this refers to the visible part of the webpage when it is loaded. “This portion of the webpage is considered most valuable and is where visitors expect to find access to the site’s contents” added Lofaso.
