PRLog -- Daystar Television Network has donated $10,000 to Nashville-based Mercy Ministries. Nancy Alcorn, founder and president of Mercy Ministries, was a recent guest on Daystar’s flagship show, “Celebration.”
Mercy Ministries is a residential, faith-based organization dedicated to helping women facing desperate situations like drug abuse, depression and eating disorders. Daystar’s donation will help the ministry bring more hurting women into the free of charge program, which deliberately receives no government funding. “In order for us to help them, we have to have help from you,” Nancy Alcorn said in a general appeal on Daystar.
This was Alcorn’s first visit to the “Celebration”
set, but her work is well-respected by the network’s founders, Marcus Lamb and his wife, Joni.“I’ve been hearing about your ministry for years,” said Joni Lamb. “What an amazing mission!”
Marcus Lamb encouraged everyone who is able to find out more about Mercy Ministries and prayerfully consider giving to them as well.
