Flagstaff Martial Arts offered for Free in Celebration of 100 Best Youth Communities
Water Mountain Martial Society is offering Free Martial Arts training on February 25 in honor of Flagstaff being named one of 100 Best Youth Communities in the U.S.A..
Exciting programs in kung fu, Filipino stick, and Russian Kettlebell programs await Flagstaff youth on February 25, from 1-4 pm.
Passport issued by Coconino Kids is required, as are parent permission forms.
Water Mountain Martial Society is located at 2500 4th, at the corner of 4th and 7th. Detailed location and program information can be found at www.h2omt.com.
1:00-1:30 kids kung fu, 2-6 years old
1:45- 2:15 kids kung fu, 7-12 years old
2:30-3:00 Teen strength and fitness
3:15-3:45 Teen Kung Fu
4:00-4:30 Filipino Stick training.
Kung fu is a striking art that emphasizes the control of the body and of behavior. It releases the hidden capacity of a child and teaches him or her to control it.
Filipino Stick is the primary martial art of thr Philippines. It is rhythmic and drum like, while also being a potent system of self-defense.
Strength training is with National Kettlebell Coach, Brendan Cabral. He can dramatically improve athletic performance or show you how to get on a path of reasonable bodyweight.
