By: Jonathan Stanford Unknown to Somerville, there is also a group of Cambridge academics working on a similar project. They have been working on it from the war period. In the January of 1996 the body of one of the Cambridge group is found floating in the River Cam. Post-mortem examination shows an excess of alcohol in his blood, but he never drank alcohol. There were no wounds. The Coroner records a verdict of death by accident. At his funeral a very attractive girl in a black suit and with auburn hair cries in mourning for him. There is also a young professor (Adam Locke) who has been elected to take the place of the drowned man. He is attracted by the girl but has no idea who she is. They will meet a few days later. Later still, a dangerous plan is forged by the Cambridge group. It entails Adam and Clare going to Switzerland and acting as human bait in an attempt to lure a suspected killer from his cover. It backfires horribly. A man is eventually arrested and charged with attempted murder. Interestingly and unusually, permission is given that his trial take place in England. The Trial is extremely revealing. ISBN-10: 1450256422 Author: Brian Stanford http://ch.linkedin.com/ End
