100 Pound Weight Loss With Athletic Leaders
My name is Hyacinth aka "Shera." At the age of 16 I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes. I am now 36 years old.
I have been obese since the age of 15. I was always active but my nutrition wasn't always good neither did I have an exercise regime to which I was committed. As well when my sugar levels are not control it’s impossible to be healthy and to lose weight. I was told by my diabetes specialist that my health was deteriorating. He said that I was the pilot and he is the co-pilot; if I want to live I need to take this disease serious or I will die from it. In 2008, I lost my mother to the same disease that I was battling. I had enough and made up my mind. I changed my specialist to someone who understood my needs. Dr. Shorey, my endocrinologist told me to exercise, to do boot camp as it will save my life.
I got in contact with Granville at athletic leader. He knew my struggle; he knew the odds that were against me with unstable sugar levels and all my injuries. One of the most significant was my spinal injury where I have a metal bar in my neck. Granville was determined to work around it. I remember him saying that it's mind over matter; it's in you. I got serious about boot camp and religiously started in 2010. l started to change my nutrition and committed myself to 5 times per week with boot camp. I even did weeks on end doing double classes while taking 3-4 buses just to get there from home. When I started my weight was 336lbs. 2 weeks before my year’s anniversary I'm at 236lbs. I am still continuing with it as it continues to save my life. I used to be on pills to treat my elevated blood pressure as well as 4 insulin injections per day (30-75 units 4 times a day). Currently I'm only taking an insulin injection at night my night dkbvt (8 units) and I'm on pills to replace the daytime insulin. My body went from not producing enough insulin to gaining muscle and naturally producing insulin in my body. I am reversing the same very disease to which I lost my mother and that could have also cost me my life. I choose to live! In order to do that I have to exercise.
The program that athletic leader provides is one that's guaranteed to work. You have to be honest and commit yourself no matter what. I went from lifting 10lbs dumbbells to 50lbs dumbbells. I'm even able to dead lift 245lbs. I choose to live and extend my life. Anyone can accomplish your weight loss goal. Focus and don't let anyone or anything get into your way. Do this for you!
