Realtors® are all looking for good, marketable properties to sell to their buyers. There has been much talk about the "shadow inventory" which refers to the pre-foreclosure homes going through the short sale or foreclosure process.  At a recent Broker's meeting at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Board of Realtors, our president stated that he met with a Fannie Mae representative and she dispelled this myth.  The Fannie Mae representative said that the inventory is being put onto the market immediately and that banks are NOT holding onto inventory. We at Wolfe Real Estate Group hope this is true! We have have buyers but not a lot of inventory of homes for sale in the Fort Lauderdale area to choose from.
