By: Alt Pr Man of the Hour is a ‘pop-punk band with teeth’ from deep in the Welsh Valleys that experiment with elements of pop-punk from the various reincarnations of the genre over the years. Some influences come from the early days of Blink 182 and New Found Glory to the more recent influences of Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals. Man Of The Hour bring unique, original combinations of guitar rhythms and soaring, addictive melodies to an often crowded genre, and set out to sound like nothing you’ve ever heard before, whilst at the same time resembling a long lost friend. Man of the Hour have had a tremendous amount of airplay from some of the UK’s most listened to stations, such as Radio 1, Amazing Radio and Nation Radio. The guys have been noted as one of the best up and coming acts to emerge from Wales in 2012, so get ready for the take over. Man of the Hour have a variety of gigs coming up at the following venues: 16th March @ Hobo’s, Bridgend 18th March @ The Full Moon, Cardiff 23rd March @ Le Pub, Newport 7 July @ Dare Valley Ink n Iron, Michael Sobell sports centre, Aberdare For guest list or interviews, please do not hesitate to get in touch. What the Press are Saying: “I want to highlight Man of the Hour’s potential to become one of the next upcoming pop-punk newbies who will make it into the mainstream, so don’t take it personally, but, once that happens I can say “I told you so, you can even read my review up on AltSounds.” - Altsounds.com “this is a sterling piece of musicianship from a fledgling band with great promise. It’s a grower, for sure.” - SouthWalesSounds.com “I expect great things from them on the evidence of this track. A beautifully crafted and well produced, pop-punk-rock single.” - Ireviewrock.com End
