Certification Program for Condo/Townhome Associations in Mount Prospect

Feb. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- The Association of Condominium, Townhouse & Homeowners Associations (ACTHA) is hosting “Learn and Lead: ACTHA’s Certified Leader” program starting on Friday, March 23, 2012.  

It will be held at the Village of Mount Prospect, located at 50 S. Emerson St. from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  “Learn and Lead” will also be held at Oak Park Village Hall for the 5th year in a row beginning on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Oak Park Village Hall.  

Owners in common interest community associations will have the opportunity to take this six week course to increase the knowledge of proven practices employed by successful community associations.  Participants of “Learn and Lead” receive a solid foundation in the fundamentals of the multiple disciplines related to community association living.  Upon completion of the six programs, individuals will achieve “ACTHA Certified Leader” status.  Individuals may also attend these seminars if not interested in certification.  

“Learn and Lead” consists of six modules: Governance , Administration, Meetings & Elections, Financial Aspects, Physical Aspects and Insurance & Risk Management.
