Feb. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The law Enforcement Equipment Program, (LEEP), is a program designed to place surplus police equipment into the hands of officers, departments, military and American agencies that are in need.

“We are basically a trading post on line,” says Steve Newton founder of the award winning program.  “Many departments have used surplus equipment laying around in storage that they are more than willing to donate to those less fortunate.  We simply try to get them together.”

“It’s really one department donating directly to another.  Sometimes we will even donate to individual officers that are just coming into the profession or those that are in special need and the only charge is for shipping.  The law enforcement community is very generous to their brothers and sisters.  It is one huge family.”

“Last year we passed the one million dollar mark in equipment donations.”

If you have surplus property of are in need please contact the LEEP program.
