Feb. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- This year’s check presentation ceremony, hosted by Eve Tannery of WFMZ, will take place at the Preview Party Gala on March 21 at Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus. GLVADA donated a combined total of $50,000 to Good Shepherd in 2010 and 2011.

“Good Shepherd’s Pediatric Unit is able to provide life-changing care for its young patients thanks to the support provided by organizations like GLVADA, ” Sally Gammon, President and CEO of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network said. “The generous donation from GLVADA helps support the care provided to our patients and their family members and helps expand the programs and services provided by the Pediatric Unit.”

“We are happy to be a part of the fundraising efforts that support pediatric rehabilitation,” GLVADA board president Richard Salezze said. “Good Shepherd does wonderful things for children who need care, and we are proud to help support them.”

GLVADA is a nonprofit association of more than 40 leading automobile dealerships in the region. The organization benefits the local economy by encouraging car buyers to shop in the greater Lehigh Valley, and contributes 50 percent of its annual proceeds to select charitable organizations.

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, a nationally recognized rehabilitation provider, offers a variety of services for people with physical and cognitive disabilities. The Pediatric Unit provides comprehensive, compassionate care in a family-oriented environment for children under the age of 21.

“We are happy to be a part of the fundraising efforts that support pediatric rehabilitation,” GLVADA board president Richard Salezze said. “Good Shepherd does wonderful things for children who need care, and we are proud to help support them.”

The theme of this year’s Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show Preview Party Gala is “Around the World in 27 Ways.” Portions of Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena, Rauch Fieldhouse and West Pavilion will feature different parts of the world involved in automobile manufacturing. A diverse array of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts will further highlight the international theme.

Gala tickets, $75 per individual or $125 per couple, are available at GLVAutoShow.org.

The public portion of the 2012 Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show runs from March 22-25. To learn more, visit GLVAutoShow.org.
