Feb. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The third edition of the annual African entertainment awards will come up on the 14th of April 2012. The events promise to beat all expectations as more improvement has been made to make the AEA an event to look out for.
This year AEA will be remembering one of Africa’s prominent African reggae stars, Lucky Dube. The giant strides recorded by this worthy African artiste of great repute will be remembered in this coming event.  We are making arrangements for Lucky Dube’s immediate family and band members to be around for this year’s AEA.
This year’s AEA awards will also honour most deserving entrepreneurs and socialites. We will also focus on new entrants as new categories will be introduced for awards nominations. The official website for the AEA will soon be made available for everybody to vote for their favourite  African artistes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, socialites and so on.
There will also be key performances from notable artistes, comedians and dancers from different parts of world.
We are leaving no stone unturned in our quest to make this year’ AEA an experiential one that will take the entertainment community to another level.
Prominent faces from the Nigerian and Ghanaian movie industry will also be present to give this year’s event a boost.
We are also expecting dignitaries from Australia with special representation from the international African cinema Australia.
AEA is introducing new categories that will be published in further press releases. We are also expecting media representation from Media houses like:
   AIT
Hype for the event will commence with campus tours of major Universities and colleges with high number of international students.
It is our greatest wish that.
The life time achievement award to the Lucky Dube family will be present by the South African high commissioner to Malaysia.
The event will have the usual paparazzi buzz and red carpet interviews. The event promises to be explosive.

The website for voting will be up and running in a week’s time so everyone is expected to log on and vote. Voting will close a week to the event to give time for collation of votes and winners in categories. The voting categories will also be stipulated online while nomination for each category will stated clearly for everyone to know who to vote for in each category.
