Parent Media Group presents the second New York Fashion Week "The CuteKid Fashion Show"
First unveiling of new children's lines including Levi's Boys, Converse Boy & Girl, Nike Action Boy & Girl and Jordan Girls
Press and fashion industry professionals are invited to attend this exclusive runway show, entitled 'Recess' that kicks off at Dave & Buster's in Times Square this Saturday, February 11th. The CuteKid model's ages range from 24 months to 11 years old, all of which will reveal exciting new looks from iconic American kids clothing lines for fall 2012 collections. While one of the world's greatest cities will be in fashion mode, kids apparel will be brought to the forefront highlighting the latest trends, colors and styles.
Much like the high profile, high-energy shows taking place during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Style360, The CuteKid has created an opportunity for parents and children to experience and attend an official fashion show amidst the excitement of New York City's legendary designer fashion showcase. The Cutekid Fashions Show was created as a platform for children and parents to experience the fashion industries biggest week. Out of thousands of submissions entered from a national casting call, The CuteKid selected eighteen kids to walk the runway show, with one being the official "Fashion Week CuteKid Correspondent"
Celebrity fashion stylist Lauren Matina (Law & Order, InStyle Magazine) will dress The CuteKid models for the catwalk in looks by, Nike, the leading athletic footwear and apparel company in the world, Levi's, one of the most iconic apparel brands in the country, which has been in business for over 150 years and Jordan a premium athletic brand defined by lifestyle, luxury, and performance which will be debuting their girls collection sizes 0-16. In addition, revved up looks by Nike Action, a brand that defines innovation and embodies the creativity of youth, united by action will add flair and making their first appearance in sizes 7-16 for girls and 8-20 for boys. Lastly,Converse will debut looks that are both durable and affordable for boys in sizes 8-20 and girls in sizes 7-16. With this being the very first collection unveiling for some of the sponsored brands, the show will be equally exciting for celebrities, consumers and editors.
