Recognized Gaming Law Attorney, Mark Hichar, Joins Hinckley, Allen & Snyder

Feb. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- PROVIDENCE, RI, February 8, 2012:  Marc A. Crisafulli, Managing Partner of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP, announced today that Mark Hichar has joined the firm as a partner in its corporate and business law group and chair of the firm’s gaming law practice.

“We are excited to broaden our corporate practice with such an outstanding lawyer with national and international expertise in the growing business of internet gambling," said Crisafulli. “The addition of Mark’s expertise and reputation will further define and significantly expand Hinckley Allen’s expertise in gaming law.”

Hichar joins Hinckley Allen from Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP where he was a partner.  He has advised Fortune 1000 companies throughout the world on gaming regulatory matters including the structuring of joint ventures, government procurement processes, and corporate governance issues for casinos and providers of gaming systems and software service providers. Prior to joining then Edwards & Angell, Hichar served as Assistant General Counsel at GTECH Holding Corporation from 1990-2000.

Hichar is a graduate of Yale University and received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
