More U.S. Exhibitors, New Faces At Singapore Airshow

Feb. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- SINGAPORE—February 6, 2012--Visitors will be able to see legendary American technology, quality and innovation in person from more than 70 companies in the U.S. International Pavilion at the Singapore Airshow February 14-19, 2012, at the Changi International Airport, Singapore.

More than a third of the U.S. Pavilion exhibitors are exhibiting at the show for the first time. Many are using the opportunity to launch a wide variety of products and services, as well as execute notable contracts.

U.S.  International Pavilion exhibitors include:

Aerospace Products International--API (S88) Memphis, TN, will be showcasing two January 2012 achievements: the worldwide distribution agreement with B/E Aerospace for its Ice Shield™ product line, and FAA approval to add the Q400 to the portfolio of propeller MRO capabilities of its Piedmont Propulsion Systems subsidiary.  It will also feature the recent Class A Enterprise Certification by China Customs for its China-based global distribution enter, its agreement to distribute OVIV’s SENTINEL 100 L business jet security system worldwide, and its selection by Purdue University to support the Aviation Technology Department flight program as it logistics management vendor.

EP-Team (Q93B) Flower Mound, TX, a first time exhibitor at the Singapore Airshow, provides unique logistics solutions to multi-national companies moving time-sensitive, high value materials to Asia Pacific. The company is showcasing its recent projects and new specialty shipping services. Included will be its ability to meet the high precision requirements for international ocean transport of completed composite structures with bi-weekly trans-Atlantic sailings. Representatives will also be available to discuss how its expertise in air transport of oversize and overweight rotary wing aircraft and related spares deployed to the Wallaby Exercises in Queensland, Australia can benefit other Asia Pacific projects.

Forecast International (S78) Newtown, CT—the provider of market intelligence and analysis in the areas of aerospace, defense, power systems and military economics specializes in long-range industry forecasts and market assessments. The company has recently issued a prediction that business jet production will resume growing in 2012, after declining each of the previous three years.  Interviews may be arranged with Forecast International’s editors.

LEKTRO (S81) Warrenton, OR, will be executing its new contract with Singapore-based IPS AGSE as its official representative in S.E. Asia for its towbarless aircraft tow tractors.

MAC Aerospace Corporation (V70G)  Chantilly, VA, a provider of spare parts for military aircraft, radar and weapon systems to the U.S. military and its allies, will be focusing on its recent deal with Carbon Component Tech Services to be the international dealer for CCTS’s new and refurbished brake stack assemblies for the F-15 and F-16.

Ocean Air (V70C) Tustin, CA, is making its first appearance at the Singapore Airshow.  With stocking facilities in Florida, California, London and Singapore, the company supplies commercial aircraft products for the aviation aftermarket, specializing in airborne communication, navigation, and instrumentation systems, as well as providing aircraft engine solutions.

PAS Technologies (R88) Kansas City, MO, provides unique component repair and specialized coating services (for high-wear, high-heat and highly corrosive environments) to customers in the commercial aerospace, defense, industrial, and oil & gas markets.  Representatives will demonstrate the benefits of its integration of repair, machining, welding, brazing, coating, and plating capabilities. The company recently welcomed Thomas C. Hutton in the role of CEO.  Both Mr. Hutton and the company’s president, Phil Milazzo, will be attending the show.

Ramco Systems (V70E) Lawrenceville, NJ is exhibiting at the show for the first time.  A global aviation M&E and MRO software provider with 800+ users, the company has recently added two more: heavy-lift specialist Columbia Helicopters has purchased its Series 5 Aviation software suite, and medical transport company Ornge is using the Series 5 M&E software.
Representatives will be demonstrating how the enterprise software provides solutions to the industry.

Rockwell Collins (Q79) Cedar Rapids, IA , the largest exhibitor in the U.S. Pavilion will be showcasing a broad range of “next generation” avionics and communications systems  providing commercial and military solutions, aiming to enhance pilot situational awareness, keep passengers connected, enable battle space interoperability and help train for mission success.

The show marks the first Asia Pacific exhibition of the PAVES 3™ inflight entertainment system (IFE), the only single-aisle digital IFE system offering customizable cabin configurations.

The company is also featuring Pro Line Fusion®. Debuting this year, the integrated avionic system is claimed to bring several firsts including synthetic vision on a head-up display, touch-control primary flight displays, and autonomous backup modes.  

Other featured products include its Head-Up Guidance Systems, Venue™ cabin-management system , FireStorm™ joint fires targeting system, Athena flight control and navigation products, Suitcase® CCT 120 communication technology, new Microguide GPS hand-held receiver, 721S VHF-UHF receiver-transmitter, Virtual Avionics Procedures Trainer with CH-47/C-130/KC-135 configuration, along with the company’s life cycle service and support global network for commercial, business, corporate and military operations.

Sagetech  (V70H) White Salmon, WA is making its first appearance at Singapore, and accepting orders for its new Mode S Transponder with ADS-B Out, just released for production. The transponder is believed to be the smallest in the world, with a footprint the size of a business card and at 100g, weighing 30% less than an iPhone.

Tronair (S70) Holland, OH, is a first-time Singapore Airshow exhibitor. The company supplies customers worldwide with a broad line of quality aircraft ground support equipment including jacks, towbars, hydraulic equipment, air start units, engine stands, slings and other products. Staff specialists will be on site to discuss solutions for business jets, turbo-props, and regional and commercial airlines and military aircraft.
