Rosewood Falls TV Pilot now funding at kickstarter.com

Feb. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Set against the backdrop of an old quarry town in southern Virginia, Rosewood Falls tells the stories of several intersecting characters as they deal with the continuing and increasingly mysterious disappearance of the towns’ children.

The series centers on Sheriff Mike Wentz, a cop hiding from his past, reluctantly thrust into the thick of an age old mystery of shadows, fear and mass disappearances.

Mythology:

Though our story takes place in our world and in the modern day, Rosewood Falls is set in an entirely fictitious town. Rosewood Falls is a town out of time. Antebellum architecture. Farms and produce stands. Rich in history and familial connections.

The Ground Rules: There are none. The first child to go missing is taken by a psychopath enamored with the innocence and beauty in youth. However, it soon becomes apparent that recent abductions are done by some near magical means.  

Throughout history there has been recorded mass disappearances of groups, towns even entire cultures of people. Rosewood Falls explores these disappearances from the vantage point of those disappearing.
