Austin Disaster Relief Network Tastes the Sweetness in Giving

Feb. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- 100% of the proceeds from this event benefit ADRN, enabling them to continue coordinating disaster relief efforts and assisting families in Central Texas’ hardest hit fire areas along with preparing them for future disaster relief efforts.  

The evening begins at 7:00pm with mouth watering desserts, a live jazz band and great company.  The evening progresses with a dessert battle between three competing dessert vendors with guests casting their votes for best tasting dessert and dessert presentation.  

ADRN's executive director, Daniel Geraci, quotes, "Fundraising events like these allow ADRN to continue providing physical, spiritual, and emotional support to those affected by disasters in Greater Austin and surrounding regions."  

Vendors include but are not limited to:  Delysia Chocolatier, Cornucopia Popcorn Bar, Shibber D’ Lites, Lick It, Bite It, or Both, Choc Bite, Sara Bell's Bakery, Christen’s Gourmet Pralines, Vivo Cocina, Creek Road Cafe, WHOO HOO Cupcakes, FORE, L's Cupcake Delivery, SugaPlump Pastries, The Upper Decks, Kneaded Pleasures, and Tootie Pie Gourmet Cafe.

ADRN's "A Sweet Soiree" tickets are available in advance for $25 each or $40 per couple.  Prices rise at the door to $30 single/$50 per couple.
