February 6, 2012 - http://www.bigworldnetwork.com - BigWorldNetwork.com today announced the launch of their Winter Season for serialized fiction and nonfiction series, also available in audio with weekly episodes. This launch adds several new series and continues into Season 2 for many returning series, for a total of 16, plus the 4 Mid-Season series that were added in December. All episodes will be available in written form on the website, and as audio versions on the site and as podcasts on iTunes.
"The concept for BWN started in early 2011 and began to take formal shape last August. I wanted to create an entertainment option following the model of television episodes, but in a literary format, a fresh spin on the concept of serialized, episodic literature, also including the option of audio, for the entrainment of our readers and listeners,” said CEO and Founder of BigWorldNetwork.com, Jim McGovern. “Our initial launch in November 2011 was a huge success, highlighting new and already published authors alike. We plan to continue to grow our selection of series, including as many genres as possible, so that there is something for everyone to enjoy, from romance and mystery, to Sci-Fi and fantasy, and also non-fiction. We are especially excited about our new Winter Season lineup, bringing back series favorites for another season, and adding some great new talent as well."
The first episode for this season of all 16 individual series is available now with launch. Returning titles include the popular nonfiction series How to Stay UP in a DOWN Economy by Trina Boice, and the historical WWII London Blitz Diary series by Victoria Washuk, as written in the diary of her great-grandmother, Ruby Alice Side Thompson. New series Out of this World…and the Next and The Darkness Under the Rainbow add more science fiction to the online publisher’s lineup, joining several other brand new series of various genre and many popular returning series.
There will be twelve episodes per season for each series at BigWorldNetwork.com, with new and returning series featuring the stories that readers demand. The website is accepting submissions for their next Mid-Season premiere in March, deadline February 25th, and has an open submission for Mini-Series.
BigWorldNetwork.com is a unique publishing website created to offer a distinct and entertaining way to read and enjoy both fiction and nonfiction in an episodic format, not unlike a television series. Series episodes are also available in audio and as email subscriptions.
