Feb. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Reston, VA- Founded in 1988, Imagex Inc. is a woman-owned small business solutions provider serving the financial, commercial, educational, and government markets. They focus on document imaging, data content, workflow, and the latest software tools to help businesses increase productivity, reduce costs and inefficiencies, and optimize business processes. In order to encourage potential entrepreneurs, Imagex supports iMADdu’s Student Apprenticeship Program.

“Being able to mentor students and giving back to the community are very important to me and to everyone at Imagex,” said Imagex President Nancy Gretzinger. “Since iMADdu’s Student Apprenticeship Program helps both students and local businesses, I was eager to become a part of the experience. Getting the extra help from an apprentice, as well as teaching the apprentice, is a perfect learning situation for both sides.”

iMADdu helps students gain hands-on experiences in the business world, and many of those experiences cannot be taught in the classroom. Through the help of Imagex, iMADdu Apprentices learn about local small businesses and gain informative experiences.

“Nancy is a strong-willed and extremely motivating woman,” says iMADdu Communication Apprentice Gracie Boliek. “She is more than willing to help educate students and is able to give inspiration to women in the DC area. My internship at Imagex has given me the confidence that I can make it in the business world.”
