Feb. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Novachi would like to thank all those educators who stopped by and took some time to talk to them at this year's 2012 FETC show.   FETC 2012 featured education technology vendors from all over the world to showcase the latest trends, and most exciting technologies.

At booth number 156, Novachi unveiled to the world their newest product, Novachi 2.0.  The product, which is being called the world's first true Integrated Education System (IES) turned heads all week as educators from all walks of life got a chance to witness a piece of technology that could potentially revolutionize the way schools treat their data systems.

Novachi 2.0 is a new product that allows for seamless integration of education platforms in a dynamic way.  Novachi provides a single sign on solution (SSO) that provides schools access to all their web and cloud based EdTech applications with one single user-name and password.  This integration process goes miles further than traditional SSO utilities by not just reducing the number of passwords you require, but by syncing relevant data points wherever they can be synced.

This advance in technology comes in part because of the increasing need for schools to manage a variety of data systems.  Traditionally, these systems don't talk to each other, which means that for any meaningful data to be transferred between them, a significant amount of time and resources must be taken to manually migrate and extract the data.  With Novachi 2.0, a school could use any combination of LMS, SIS, CMS, ILS, and have the data between them transfer where relevant.  For example, a test taken in Moodle 2.2 could be synced to automatically show up in your SIS in real-time.    The idea behind Novachi 2.0, according to one rep, is, “No more migration of data, no manual reconciliation between systems, no more headache”.

Both vendors and educators alike were pleased to find that Novachi 2.0's new features include a Vendor Marketplace.  The marketplace is intended to serve as a springboard for vendors who wish to get their product in the hands of educators, and for educators who wish a place to review and select a combination of platforms that best fit's their unique needs.  Vendors who wish to reach a broader market, without the costly investment that such actions normally entail, can engage Novachi's customers directly.  Conversely, schools seeking a technology solution for their school administrative and classroom needs don't need to shop around for the best products at the best prices, they will all be available from within one integrated framework.

By eliminating the cumbersome RFP process most schools rely on to facilitate technology acquisition (which can sometimes take months, or even years in some extreme cases), Novachi hopes to speed up the adaptation and use of said systems to finally deliver on the promise that technology has been offering educators for decades.

Novachi is now accepting applications for schools who wish to take advantage of the new IES features, and more information can be found at www.novachi.com.
