Our Story (why Better Together is perfect for Valentine’s Day)
While working in corporate America and pursuing his Masters in Business, Todd Kelly realized that his passions lie elsewhere…in the kitchen. With encouragement from his wife, Kestra, he quit his job and the two headed to Philadelphia with a mission and a passion. Todd immediately went to work baking up decadent creations that would become B.T. Baking. Behind the name - Todd’s wife, Kestra, would always tell him that while individually they were great, they were truly “better together.” When Todd began brainstorming names for the company, Kestra immediately mentioned the name “Better Together” which he thought was perfect and thus B.T. Baking was born! What started out as a tiny operation in his home kitchen has grown into a business that today has brownies sold from ME- VA.  Love is what started the business and what you will find in all of our brownies. As our tag line says, “Heartfelt Good.”
