medeConnect appoints new International Account Director

Feb. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Online research expert medeConnect Healthcare Insight has strengthened its senior research team with the appointment of Dr William Russell as International Account Director.

In his new role, William will oversee and deliver medeConnect’s extensive range of international, community based on-line qualitative and quantitative market research services.

William has 14 years’ experience of international pharmaceutical market research and consultancy at the headquarters and affiliates of major pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies in Europe, USA and Japan.

He started his career as a post-doctoral research assistant at St Thomas’s Hospital, London, where he worked closely with the clinicians to understand the mechanisms by which parasites cause diseases of the eye.

He then went on to work with Medical Marketing Research International where he was promoted to Head of Market Research.  He joins medeConnect from Silver Fern Research, where he held the post of Research Director.
