IFT Energy Trade Show Receives U.S. Embassy Endorsement

Ambassador Alejandro Wolff cites Chile’s financial willingness and resources to double its power supply in ten years; the show aims to gather critical thought leaders, producers and buyers to help solve the region's electrical energy challenges
Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- SANTIAGO, CHILE— January 30, 2012—Latin America’s International Conference and Exhibition for Electrical Energy Solutions, IFT ENERGY 2012, has received an official letter of support from the U.S. Ambassador to Chile, Alejandro Wolff.

U.S. AMBASSADOR’S MESSAGE: Ambassador Wolff encouraged American business participation in the show, advising, “Chili must double its power supply within the next ten years and is willing to invest the financial resources needed to make this happen.”

The Ambassador also noted the ease of doing business in the region, citing the U.S./Latin America’s Free Trade Agreements, which “provide preferential access to U.S. products and services in these vibrant developing markets.” The full letter can be found at

Electricity solution buyers and providers will gather at IFT ENERGY May 9-11, 2012 in Santiago, Chile to provide innovative products and services to address Latin America’s urgent electrical energy needs, the result of a desirable economy, rapid commercial and residential growth, and thriving industrial processes, like mining. The event is organized by global tradeshow organizer Kallman Worldwide.
