training device that started with one simple but brilliant idea from pro-sports
Strength and Conditioning Coach, Mike Kadar. Mike’s vision started many years
ago on the family farm in Canada while building cattle fences with his father.
Mike was tasked with the job of digging the holes for the fence posts, which
required driving a 60 pound steel bar into the ground and rotating it around and
around to carve out enough of a hole for the fence post. This resulted in a
tremendous total body and core workout that is simulated in several of Core
Stix’s many routines.

With this vision, Mike set out to create an easy and fun to use full body functional
training device that is challenging and versatile enough for even the strongest pro
athletes. Mike teamed up with Kregg Koch, an accomplished engineer and patent
attorney who worked on NASA’s Space Shuttle program, to bring his ideas into
form.
