Hollywood, CA January 14, 2012 – Long before Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown, there were the Bay City Rollers, Tony DeFranco, and Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods. Teen fanzines in the 60’s/70’s (16 Magazine, Tiger Beat, FLIP and FAVE) featured these stars on the mag covers on a regular basis. On the “Teen Idols of 16 Magazine” live concert tour, the fans finally have a chance to see their childhood heroes up close and personal for the very first time on the very same stage. The Bay City Rollers were the "tartan teen sensations from Edinburgh" and were the first of many acts heralded as the 'Biggest Group since The Beatles' and one of the most screamed at teeny-bopper acts of the 1970s. In 1976 (the year of “Rollermania") For many years, teen idol Tony DeFranco (of the DeFranco Family) has eluded the spotlight but is finally returning. Tony says, “all these years later, I’m still receiving close to 500 letters and emails monthly.
