Emilio Pucci's pre-fall collection was inspired by dark glamour; the collection is injected with more saturated nocturnal colors. This archived varied effects, within darker palette of colours and enhances the line into a more androgyne chic.

Back then, Emilio Pucci became the symbol of the pop culture of the 60’s.  He was the jetset designer amongst Jacqueline Kennedy and Marylin Monroe. Emilio Pucci’s glamorous, chic and féminine lines have become very famous, especially among celebrities and famous figures and his nickname was ‘’the prince of prints’’ Pucci’s flashy prints and use of tight and stretchy material were soon praised by fashion critics everywhere. That was only the beginning of Emilio Pucci’s success story.

After Emilio's death in 1992 his daughter, Laudomia Pucci, continued to design under the Pucci name. In  in October 2005, Matthew Williamson was the head designer and in 2009, Peter Dundas. Peter Dundas who was born in Oslo, began his career working in theatre costume design in Paris before being headhunted by Jean Paul Gaultier. He has worked at Christian Lacroix, Roberto Cavalli and Emanuel Ungaro, and is now the creative director of Emilio Pucci. He lives between Florence, home of Pucci, and Paris, and has a holiday house in Greece.
