Crafty Mom Creates Couture For Tots

   We are all aware that fashion no longer has an age limit.  Forty is the new thirty. Thirty is the new twenty...and it seems seven is the new seventeen.  Yes, that’s right.  Just watch some YouTube music videos, the Disney channel, or Nickelodeon and you'll see where today’s elementary schoolers get their fashion sense.  Ultra popular stars like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are known for their outrageous outfits, including some super funky head-wear.  In reality though, these accessories don't really translate well to day to day fashion for most of us

   Since debuting her designs at a craft fair on Long Island in 2010,  moms and their fashion forward daughters have been seeking out Dawn for her one of a kind designs.  She says, “My customers' loyalty keeps me inspired, and I love it when something I made makes a little girl so excited!”  Having already sold over a thousand original pieces, Dawn still considers herself to be just starting out.  “I think that people like to know that when they get one of my pieces, they have the only one exactly like that.  It's something special that no one else will ever have.”
