“Car Men”, which was shown on NBC affiliate WXII, delivered a household rating of a 1.9 – 1st in the time period with all the major stations.

Even more impressive: The documentary had an undesirable infomercial lead in and had tough competition on another network from an NFL pre-game show. Expectations were high that the film would perform strong, but not like this.
