Another great marketing opportunity for summer event organisers in Swansea

Jan. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- CHRISTMAS may seem like it’s only just gone but planning for an exciting  events programme this summer has already started.

Swansea Council’s Marketing Team is now asking event organisers to get in touch if they’d like to be included in a major marketing campaign for Swansea Bay Festival.

The Swansea Bay Festival was originally launched by Charlotte Church in 2000 and runs from May to September and is now in its 12th year, helping both residents and visitors to the city plan their free time

Over 100,000 copies of the guide will be published and distributed across South Wales. Some of the events last summer included the return of the Wales National Airshow, the reopening of Oystermouth Castle and the Gower Walking Festival.

Many other small events and activities are also held and anyone who gets in touch with Marketing Services at Swansea Council by Friday February 17 can have their details included in the annual guide.

Many thousands of people enjoy the Swansea Bay Festival every year. It’s become an extremely popular feature of the annual calendar and its success can be explained by the mix of both major and small-scale events, which appeal to a variety of audiences.

The official guide and the festival website are what many people will use to find out what’s going on and this is why it’s important event organisers get in touch for free inclusion.

A mention in the festival could boost the success of an event.

The Admiral Swansea Bay 10K and Clyne in Bloom are some of the other major events that take place every year.
