Jan. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- NarroWay Productions is having a first-ever "Pay What You Can Day" on Saturday, February 4 at 12pm. In difficult economic times, this one-of-a-kind event allows guests to see a Broadway-style NarroWay show simply by paying whatever can be personally afforded. No advance sales are being taken. Guests simply need to show up at the NarroWay Theatre at noon on February 4 for general admission seating. As each guest enters the theatre, a ticket agent will collect individual payments. Seating will end at 12:30pm. More information is available through the box office at 803.802.2300.

"We wanted to offer something for those who might not otherwise be able to afford a NarroWay show," says director Rebecca Martin. "This is a great opportunity. If someone can afford more than the regular ticket price, then they can pay more. If they can afford five dollars, then then they can pay five dollars."

Alisha Anders, director of marketing notes, "We have offered great discounts in the past, but nothing like this." Indeed, NarroWay has never had an event that enabled guests to determine their own personal ticket rate. Such an opportunity is a rarity in entertainment -- or any field. "We know that economically, times are hard for most of America right now," says Martin. "We wanted to do something that would help."

Those who take advantage of NarroWay's "Pay What You Can Day" will see the original patriotic favorite, "Not Just Another Love Story." The show chronicles the days of World War II with classic 40's  music, video,  and a storyline that rings true not only with veterans, but people from all walks of life. As with all Broadway-style shows at NarroWay, "Not Just Another Love Story" includes a cast of more than 50 talented actors, singers and dancers. A horse even comes onto the stage at one point, in a sobering tribute to fallen soldiers.

Doors open to the theatre at 12pm and seating ends at 12:30pm. Dinner is not being offered, but concessions will be readiliy available. Because of the nature of the event, seating will be general admission and advanced sales will not be taken.

The NarroWay Theatre is located at 3327 Highway 51 in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The facility is just 1/2 mile south off I-77 exit 90, Carowinds Boulevard. More information is available online at www.narroway.net  or through the NarroWay office at 803.802.2300 or 704.831.8893.
