Sadia Sisay, co-founder of award winning lingerie brand beingU, has joined Lingerie Insight as a columnist. Lingerie Insight is a leading magazine and website for British lingerie, nightwear and swimwear community.

Lingerie Insight is your one-stop source for breaking news, comment, trading insight and buying inspiration, serving the lingerie industry.  The magazine monthly publication and website provides the latest global lingerie trends; expert business advice from retailers, wholesalers and designers; facts and figures on the state of the industry; and a forum in which all opinions can be aired and heard.

Sadia, will be writing a monthly column for the magazine talking ‘all things lingerie’ as she experiences them, as the co-founder of award winning lingerie brand beingU. beingU is the lingerie brand focusing on women of colour that incorporates skin tone, size and body shape into bras, briefs and loungewear.  The range not only provides tonal shades for nude lingerie for darker skinned women but also provides specially designed briefs to fit various bottom shapes.

Sadia was a Cancer Nurse, who developed her career in the Pharmaceutical Industry, before deciding to start a lingerie business, something completely different to the medical field.  So as an industry newbie, she’s learning so much and is therefore able to bring readers a fresh perspective from the point of view of a business owner living and breathing the life of lingerie.
