Two Young Entrepreneurs Launch NightLight Network - the UK’s first ‘Nocturpreneur Network’
Enterprise and Social Network for Entrepreneurs and Technologists building their businesses through the night
Connecting on Twitter, two young entrepreneurs worked through the night thinking of potential business ventures. Alex Gash (20), a student at the Peter Jones’ Enterprise Academy in Amersham and Adam Bradford (19), a former student and now Ambassador for Peter Jones' Academies, came up with the idea for the UK’s first ‘Nocturpreneur Network’ – NightLight Network.
The concept - a vibrant venue and network for hard-working entrepreneurs and technologists who either need to or love to work at night to build their dream venture. NightLight Network is launching with its first WorkOut Wednesday on 8 February, 2012.
Providing access to premium office space in the heart of London, it will connect like-minded, ambitious individuals and develop a skills-sharing ethos amongst its members. NightLight Network will also put together special events, including guest speakers, access to mentors, pitch practice and ‘meet the investor’ nights.
Importantly, the network will also organise NightLight Nights Out on Fridays to ensure that its members have the opportunity to enjoy a break from their work and socialise in London’s best clubs.
The co-founders believe that NightLight Network will appeal to people who want to develop their own business ideas outside of their regular day jobs; young entrepreneurs who would value the networking and skills-sharing and entrepreneurs currently working on their own who would appreciate the opportunity to get feedback on ideas or who miss working in a team.
Alex Gash, co-founder, NightLight Network, says: “This is an exciting and creative way of unleashing the potential for new businesses to grow outside of the regular 9-5 working day. The NightsOut are also very important in the mix, ensuring that our members build genuine friendships once the work week is over.”
Adam Bradford, co-founder, NightLight Network, says: “We’re taking a new approach to business and networking – one that puts the entrepreneurs together with venture capitalists, technologists, marketers and other specialist professionals to create what we hope will be a bold and vibrant community.”
The first NightLight Network event – WorkOut Wednesday - will take place on 8 February 2012 in Central London from 7.30pm-11.30pm. NightLight Network will launch in London, with a UK regional roll-out planned for 2012.
