Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Executive Director Ann Levene-Eisenberg announced that a groundbreaking ceremony will take place at the future site for The Palm Beach School for Autism on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.  The new campus will be located at 8474 West Lantana Road – Lake Worth, FL 33467.  This ceremony marks the next step in the evolution of The Palm Beach School for Autism, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charter school.

Representatives from Palm Beach County, Town of Lake Worth, School District of Palm Beach County, and family members & friends of The Palm Beach School for Autism will be on hand to commemorate this extraordinary event.  Special guest U.S. Congressman Ted Deutch will help by putting the first shovel into the ground for the new school.

This project will provide The Palm Beach School for Autism with the opportunity to have all of its programs and facilities under one roof; something that is not physically capable at its current location.  The Palm Beach School for Autism will be able to increase its capacity to serve more than 200 students who live in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin Counties through preschool, elementary school and middle school programs.  A high school program is slated to begin in 2014.
