Miller Construction Co. Fast-Tracks New Amenities at Rybovich Superyacht Marina

Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- With crews working “full speed ahead,” Miller Construction Co. has completed a fast-track project at the Rybovich Superyacht Marina, delivering three new amenity buildings on a 60-day schedule.
   
Marina owner Rybovich Boat Company, LLC, turned to Miller as general contractor for the new, country club-caliber cafe and fitness center at the marina, which is located on North Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach, just south of the Port of Palm Beach.  The project also included a new maintenance building.  The concrete masonry structures total 16,560 square feet and feature wood roof truss systems and standing-seam metal roofs – all hardened to withstand proximity to salt water.  Peacock + Lewis of North Palm Beach was architect for the buildings.
   
One of the region’s few megayacht marinas accommodating vessels up to 300 feet, the Rybovich Superyacht Marina offers the largest transient dock in Florida with in-slip, high-speed fueling.  Completed on schedule, in time for the holiday season, the new amenity buildings add to the comfort of megayacht crews when vessels are docked or undergoing refit.

The Rybovich marina is one of just 44 marinas in Florida that has been designated a Clean Marina by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Clean Boating Partnership.  Sensitive to that environmental commitment, Miller’s project team implemented a zero-tolerance trash program that incorporated frequent scheduled job site trash walks at regular intervals throughout each day and added additional manpower including up to six-person cleaning crews for concentrated clean-up efforts on an as-needed basis.
